Meet Coach Ricardo

Hi, I’m Ricardo Vazquez. I hold a Master’s in Human Behavior and a BA in Kinesiology, and I’ve spent the past nine years coaching at the collegiate level, focusing on building strong habits, confidence, and a positive team culture. I also served as a lecturer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I taught Kinesiology and mentored students both academically and athletically.

I founded 1on1 Soccer LLC to provide personalized player development and create a positive space for athletes to grow. Since 2015, I’ve worked closely with players of all levels, helping them build skills, confidence, and a genuine love for the game.

As a parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a supportive, fun, and structured environment where kids can develop at their own pace while staying active and engaged.
